Luis A.
Diaz is co-founder of Town of Tioga, a Traditional Neighborhood
Development in Gainesville, Fl. Recipient of the 2001 N.A.H.B. and
Professional Builder Builder magazine’s “American Living Gold Award”
for “Smart Growth”, the 1998 E.N.V.Y award by the Florida
Association of Realtors and the Keep Alachua County Beautiful “Best
of the Millennium” gold award.
Mr. Diaz is the President of Tioga Realty, Dibros Corporation, and
Big Trees Nursery and Plantation; a family owned group of companies
that specialize in development, home building, ornamental nursery
and landscaping. He is also Vice-President of Tioga Town Center.
He currently serves on the board of the Gainesville Community
Foundation, the Sebastian Ferrero Foundation, Builders Association
of North Central Florida, and State of Florida Builders Association.
Luis is the former 1995 President of the Gainesville Builders
Association and 1994's "Builder of the Year".
He has a Bachelors Degree in Building Construction from University
of Florida.
